Overview I am a practicing cardiothoracic anesthesiologist at Moffitt Long Hospital, where I participate in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical cases. I additionally practice as an anesthesiologist in charge or "E1am" at ML Hospital, where I am involved in the multidisciplinary management and clinical care of a busy operating room schedule of complex cases.
Additionally, I am the Quality Improvement Director of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia and also Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography.
I participate in the education of anesthesia residents and cardiothoracic anesthesia fellows through various lectures. Additionally, I and the rotation director for the 140.07 Advanced Rotation in Anesthesia for OMFS Residents, who spend six months of their residency learning anesthesia practice.
My research interests are in the management of coagulopathy, minimally invasive procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
