    Dr. Pritikanta Paul is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco, specializing in autoimmune and inflammatory neuromuscular diseases, including myasthenia gravis, myositis, and immune neuropathies. A Mayo Clinic–trained neuromuscular specialist, he is board-certified in Neurology, Neuromuscular Medicine, Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Clinical Neuromuscular Pathology.

    At UCSF, Dr. Paul leads multidisciplinary clinics for myasthenia gravis and myositis and directs multiple clinical trials evaluating emerging immunotherapies and digital health approaches to improve patient outcomes. His research focuses on immune-mediated neuromuscular disorders and patient education.

    He serves on editorial boards and contributes to professional organizations including the American Neurological Association, and AANEM. Dr. Paul is also deeply engaged in teaching and mentorship within UCSF’s Neurology residency and fellowship programs.
