    Willa Li, MD, is a general surgery resident at UCSF. She grew up in San Francisco, California and graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Chemical & Physical Biology. She then attended medical school at the University of Chicago where she spent a research year as a Burroughs Wellcome Fund Fellow studying vascular flow biomechanics. She is grateful for the opportunity to return home for her surgical training and looks forward to growing through the rigorous and diverse clinical training program at UCSF.
