Lela Bachrach, MD, MS is the Associate Director of the Contextually Integrated Case-Based curriculum for the UC Berkeley - UCSF Joint Medical Program (JMP) and an attending at Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute (CHORI) with the Department of Adolescent Medicine. She enjoys clinical work and precepting trainees at the school-based health centers affiliated with CHORI, as well as the main CHORI teen clinic. Dr. Bachrach is excited to be part of the UCSF School of Medicine's 2013-2014 Teaching Scholars Program, and plans to focus on improving the JMP pediatrics curriculum as a case study in case-based learning and clinical skills integration.
