With over 20 years of experience at UCSF, Carroll has developed a strong foundation as a strategic leader, recognizing that effective change requires nurturing a positive culture alongside robust business practices in financial management and data-driven decision-making. Carroll excels in fostering engagement, diversity, and retention within high-performing teams across the Research, Education, and Clinical missions.
Trusted by faculty and administrators alike, Carroll is committed to advancing inclusive healthcare for all and is particularly interested in exploring how the intersection of healthcare, technology, and artificial intelligence can revolutionize the field.
Carroll leads organizational change across program and project lifecycles in a complex and ever-evolving healthcare environment. Her leadership extends outside of the Department of Anesthesia as exhibited through her committee work.
In her free time, Carroll enjoys spending time with her family and pets, exercising, reading, and nurturing her budding art practice.
