Kasia Kadela is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. She graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Global Health. She received her medical degree from Rush University. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Loyola University, where she also served as Chief Resident.
She then joined the faculty at the University of Chicago Medical Center. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she played an active role in medical education, helping to develop a Hospital Medicine sub-internship for 4th year medical students.
Kasia joined the faculty at UCSF in 2021. Clinically, she attends on the inpatient teaching wards and direct care medicine services. She is interested in medical education and improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
