    Kathleen B. Orrico, PharmD, BCPS is a Full Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of California, San Francisco School of Pharmacy. Kathy is a graduate of the University of Michigan and holds a Certificate in Genetics and Genomics from the Stanford University Center for Professional Development. Her current mission is to translate gene-drug associations into clinical practice in order to improve medication safety and efficacy.

    Kathy also holds a Certificate in Purchasing Management from UC Berkeley, and is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. Over her 30 year career she has practiced as a Clinical Pharmacist with a focus on pharmacogenomics, drug safety surveillance, and medical group quality assurance. She has practiced as a pediatric hospital pharmacist, a drug education coordinator, and as a clinical operations manager.
