As a pediatric music therapist, I use music, aesthetics, and creative play to form meaningful relationships with patients and their families. Within this relationship, clinical goals are supported, as are the basic human needs of each child. As a result, desired medical outcomes are enhanced and/or expedited, and patients and their families have a better healthcare experience.
