Olive is the Grants Manager of Proposals and Grants Teams E & F. Olive started at UCSF in 2003 as an HIV Test Counselor with the ZSFG HIV Assessment and Prevention Services at ZSFG where she utilized a multi-infection framework to provide counseling, testing and referral services for the hospital's diverse population. In 2004, she switched her focus and began providing administrative support to the EPI Center. In 2006, Olive started her role as a Research Services Analyst for the Division of Experimental Medicine at ZSFG. In 2009 her job duties shifted from pre- and post-award support, to solely pre-award. In 2012, Olive transferred to Research Management Services/Proposals and Grants as a Research Services Coordinator/Grants Specialist. In May of 2015 Olive became the Assistant Grants Manager on Team E. In October 2019 Olive became the Interim Grants Manager of Teams E & F which support the Department of Medicine, Osher Center, UCSF Fresno, and the VA. In April 2020 Olive became the Grants Manager of Teams E & F.
