    River Jiang is an advanced echocardiography fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, a fellow in the Clinician Investigator Program at the University of British Columbia, and a student in the Master of Information and Data Science program at the University of California, Berkeley. He completed his internal medicine and cardiology training at the University of British Columbia and obtained his MD from McMaster University.

    Dr. Jiang is working on applications of machine learning and computer vision for cardiovascular disease phenotyping and prognostication, and his work is supported through the University of British Columbia Friedman Scholarship. He enjoys working on statistical analysis of large datasets within medicine, deep learning, computer vision, and development and validation of predictive AI models.
