Robertino Garcia Cortes is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St Louis, where he majored in Biology. He subsequently earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College. Upon completion of residency, he worked as primary care physician and preceptor for outpatient internal medicine residents and as a hospitalist in NYC, before focusing his attention on inpatient care.

Robertino maintains strong interests in quality improvement, sepsis management and perioperative evaluation. He strives to improve the patient care by standardizing practices through evidence based medicine.
