    Roma Pegany, MD is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at UCSF. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she double majored in Public Health and South & Southeast Asian Studies. She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She then completed Ophthalmology residency training at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill followed by a Cornea, External disease and Refractive surgery fellowship at the Casey Eye Institute in Portland, Oregon, where she received their Fellow of the Year award. Dr. Pegany’s interests include infectious diseases of the cornea and resident education.
