    Shreya Kapoor, M.D., holds a dual appointment an Associate Professor of Medicine, as well as an Associate Professor of Geriatrics at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She is the Medical Director of the CLC at San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS), and Attending on the Internal Medicine wards of the SFVAHCS. She is the clinical lead, and liaison for the Geriatrics Fellowship at the CLC at SFVAHCS. She has practiced as a hospitalist at the Department of Veterans Affairs since 2012.

    Dr. Kapoor has been recognized as an innovative leader and academician in the development of Internal Medicine Residency curriculum. She holds a special niche in working with leaners having challenges and recognized for her compassionate approach in constructively guiding leaners to success.

    As the Medical Director of the Community Living Center (CLC) at SFVAHS, Dr. Kapoor leads and managers a 120 bed unit overlooking compliance with national regulations, as well as enhancing quality of care metrics to provide exceptional care for Veterans admitted to the CLC.
