My research focuses on the prevention of cardiovascular disease, with a particular emphasis on cardiovascular disease in women, hypertension, heart failure and health inequity. I undertake primary and secondary analysis using statistical modelling techniques as well as computer simulation modelling to determine the population impact of primary and secondary prevention interventions. I am an accomplished health services research professional with more than 25 years of experience in a variety of roles in cardiovascular services. I have expertise in cardiovascular epidemiological modelling, biostatistics, statistical programming, data management, critical nursing care, clinical research, strategic
