Taytum is the Digital Communications Specialist for the Center for Pandemic Preparedness and Response (CPPR) and the California Collaborative for Public Health Research (CPR3), where she focuses on building communication and outreach materials to communicate CPPR and the CPR3's impact. Previously, she was the communications manager at World Affairs, working for their international policy radio program. Taytum has degrees in environmental science and dance, and began her communications career at an environmental nonprofit in Washington, D.C. She is especially passionate about public health communications, specifically in bridging the gap between science and the media and exploring the connections between the environment and public health.
