    Tommaso Pollini, M.D. is a post-doctoral research scholar working under the supervision of Dr. Ajay V. Maker at UCSF. He comes from the Department of General and Pancreatic Surgery of the Pancreas Institute at the University of Verona, Italy where he works as General Surgery resident.
    His research focuses on the diagnosis of Pancreatic Cystic Neoplasms (PCNs) through a cyst-fluid mycrofluidic assay. Building on the identified biosignature, he'll work on the most promising targets to improve our understanding on the progression of Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasms (IPMN).
