As a Program Manager in the Neurology department at UCSF, I have been involved in co-authoring research publications that explore various dimensions of genetic testing for Alzheimer's disease, including geriatricians' perspectives on its practical utility, insurance coverage for such testing, and risks of discrimination related to AD biomarkers in long-term care insurance. My current work delves primarily into data sharing, including contributing to data stewardship guidelines and ongoing data sharing initiatives across multiple institutions. Through my role in these data sharing initiatives, I aim to facilitate the acceleration of meaningful collaboration and discovery in neurodegenerative disease research.
