    Frank Brodie is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Vitreoretinal Surgery at University of California San Francisco. Dr. Brodie is a San Francisco native who completed his medical training at the University of Pennsylvania while simultaneously earning an MBA from the Wharton School. He then went on complete his residency in Ophthalmology at UCSF followed by a post doc at Stanford in Ophthalmic Device Innovation and then fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Duke University. Dr. Brodie’s research focuses on developing technologies to visualize and treat the peripheral retina as well as new approaches to telemedicine for subspecialty care. He practices both at UCSF and the San Francisco VA.
