    I am a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist with subspecialty interest in Pediatric Hematology. I am the Medical Director for the Pediatric Sickle Cell Program in Oakland. My clinical interests include Sickle Cell Disease, Bleeding, Thrombosis, Iron Deficiency anemia and other Cytopenias. My research focuses on the needs of my patients specifically women's health, coagulopathy in sickle cell disease and acute chest syndrome.
