    Theodore Peng, MD is an Assistant Clinical Professor and Hospitalist in the Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of California San Francisco. He serves as the Associate Director of the Cardiac Hospitalist Service and is co-leading the development of a Lab Stewardship Program at UCSF with the support of a UCSF Caring Wisely grant. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and divides his time between patient care, hospital operations, quality improvement work, and medical education for both resident physicians and medical students.

    Theodore received his AB in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology from Harvard College and his MD from UCSF. He completed his medical internship and residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Academic Hospital Medicine at UCSF before joining faculty in 2023. He is currently an MBA candidate at the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business.
