In 1999 I co-founded the Kaiser Permanente Total Joint Registry. This national project has received national and international acclaim as the most complete, and highest quality total joint registry in the world. We expanded the registry to track other implantable devices over time - including pacemakers, vascular stents, and other implantable devices. The research done from the registry has significantly contributed to the world wide orthopedic literature.
