CLINICAL INTERESTS
Dr. Agarwal is a cardiologist with special interest in adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) and cardio-obstetrics. Her additional clinical interests include the use of transthoracic echocardiography and cardiopulmonary exercise stress testing.

RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr. Agarwal's career focuses on identifying, developing, and testing strategies to reduce ACHD care gaps and improve outcomes, leveraging the principles of implementation science. Her interests include patient activation and empowerment, health system interventions, and advocating for health policies that enhance ACHD patient access to timely, equitable, high-quality specialty care. Her work aims to increase patient and provider awareness about ACHD, mitigate racial/ethnic and socioeconomic disparities in ACHD care delivery, and enhance access to care leveraging digital technologies.
