| 2016 | Larry L. Sautter Golden Award for Innovation in Information Technology (Open Proposals) |
Overview I am a research technology product manager at Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) at UCSF. As a member of the Research Technology and Informatics Innovations team at CTSI, I work with research teams, research administrators, program managers and leadership to help enable clinical research with technology. I serve as a liaison between the users and the technical teams to ensure the research needs are understood and met in the best and most user-friendly way possible. Our team supports CTSI mission of building research infrastructure so building solutions that are generalizable and reusable is our team's priority. I also have a more technical role where I help design and test clinical data integration and data management solutions. I have been working on developing UCSF community of practice for Natural Language Processing.
And most recently, I have joined Bakar Institute's UCSF Information Commons team to help build close connection with the IC users - researchers, data scientists, informatics specialists - to deeply understand their needs and priorities and let this understanding shape the Information Commons roadmap.
My previous experience includes developing and designing systems and applications in various domains, related to health, IT, banking, digital marketing and enterprise software.
Product management - systems and applications for healthcare and medical research; data products, Data Science, Natural Language Processing, NLP, Information design and architecture, Data analysis and visualizations, User experience design, User centered interaction design, Systems integration., Data Management for Clinical Research, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Business Analysis - translating business users' needs to technical requirements and system designs.
