Dr. Di Ianni is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences and Radiology & Biomedical Imaging (joint appointment) at the University of California, San Francisco. He is the Director of the UCSF Basic Ultrasound Research Program and a member of the UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences.
Dr. Di Ianni completed postdoctoral work in the Department of Radiology at Stanford University, where he received the Dean’s Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2019 for his work on ultrasound technologies for functional neuroimaging and targeted image-guided neuromodulation. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, and an MS degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy.
