    Tejaswi Kompala, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the UCSF Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Dr. Kompala has particular interest in diabetes care, diabetes technology, diabetes prevention, obesity and weight management. She practices in the UCSF Diabetes Clinic, and engages in collaborative care with people living with Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, atypical diabetes, and other metabolic syndromes.

    Her research and implementation interests include innovative diabetes care models in primary care and virtual care settings, with focus on population health management and integration of diabetes technology.
