    Andrew G. Taylor, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Taylor obtained his MD and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a one-year internship in Internal Medicine at the same institution. In 2011, he completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology from the University of California, San Francisco. In 2012, Dr. Taylor completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at UCSF.

    In July 2012, Dr. Taylor accepted the position of Assistant Clinical Professor of Clinical Radiology. His areas of particular interest include interventional oncology, especially tumors of the liver and kidneys, venous interventions such as placement and management of IVC filters, and new methods of molecular imaging such as hyperpolarized carbon MRI.
