Exercise Modulation of the Host-Tumor Interaction in Prostate Cancer
    NIH R01CA181802Apr 14, 2014 - Feb 28, 2019
    Role: Co-Investigator
Description: This multi center randomized controlled trial addresses the hypothesis that vigorous aerobic exercise will modify prostate biology to deter prostate cancer progression and reduce anxiety and stress in men on active surveillance. The study incorporates prognostic biomarkers of disease, mRNA expression patterns and measures of stress and anxiety.
Characterization of and Treatment for Chemotherapy Neuropathy
    NIH/NCI R01CA151692Sep 9, 2011 - Aug 31, 2016
    Role: Co-Investigator
Description: This study is to be conducted in two parts. In Part 1, patients who have finished chemotherapy and did or did not develop CIN will be evaluated to determine why some patients do and other patients do not develop CIN. Part 2 of this study will test the effects of a new treatment called photon stimulation (also called infrared light therapy) compared to placebo treatment to improve sensations in the feet of oncology patients with CIN.
Role of Matrix Metalloproteinases in Spinal Cord Injury

Altmetrics Details PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
