      Dr. Kohn's principal research interests include 1) the application of clinical epidemiology to emergency medicine, especially to the diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome, ectopic pregnancy, and significant bacterial infection in children, and 2) database management for clinical research.

      His teaching activities include the following courses:
