I am a noninvasive general cardiologist and physician-scientist clinical researcher. I am board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. My research interests are in global cardiology, infectious-disease related cardiovascular disease (especially SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 and HIV), and disparities in cardiovascular care and outcomes. In partnership with the LIINC Cohort run by Dr. Michael Peluso, I currently run a cohort examining heart function in people recovering from COVID. I attend on the inpatient cardiology/CCU service, Cardiology Clinic, and Echocardiography Laboratory at Zuckerberg San Francisco General.
