Dr. Sara C. LaHue completed medical school and neurology residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where she is now a Neurohospitalist Fellow. Her research interests span several areas within neurology, though the majority of her work centers on translational investigations of delirium in hospitalized patients. As a resident, she was invited to give several conference talks, including at the American Academy of Neurology and the International Stroke Conference. She was awarded the San Francisco Neurological Society Newman Award for her study on the risk of hospital readmission in hospitalized adults who develop delirium. She looks forward to expanding her clinical and research career as an academic neurohospitalist.
